The clock is ticking, petrolheads!
We were expecting to be close to releasing the site to open beta, letting everyone wo wanders into this site to roam it’s empty halls and fill them with JOY and FUN!
…but things are more difficult than they seem
We’re working on using a theme we bought into the design we’d like to have. Anyone who’s used WordPress before knows it’s not as easy as you may think, as – while wordpress is powerful, it’s also sometimes for exactly that reason confusing and difficult to set up. We’ll come thru, no worries. But we’ll have to change or expectations and the timescale.
Another thing we are working on is setting up the Track and Vehicle Database the easiest way possible. This often means undoing work we did and restarting it anew. But we want the Database to be a cornerstone of the site, serving to you all as many mods as we can find to expand your simracing experience.
And in the background we continue to tidy up the site while preparing other ways to serve the community better.
A big issue we’re having is the speed of the site. We are working on countermeasures, ut at the moemnt we’re not sure how far we’ll come with those.
Also, at the same time we’re working on getting the first videos ready for YouTube. Another thing that is taking time away from… other stuff (Yes, it’s a technical terms)
