And yet another iteration later, where are we now?
Logo and CI colors
Not good. Not good at all. We had to let the designer go and are working with a new designer. Things look promising.
Calendar integration
We have set up a calendar where we will input important dates in racing history and in future any events we may be organizing. Feel free to tell us about any dates we may have missed and you’d like to see in the calendar.
But there’s more! If you are organizing an event, you can also set the date up in the calendar, and you can even have your friends or anybody “book” an event, so you know how many of us are going to take part in it! No more surprises when you set a race!
Track and vehicle database
It’s incredibly difficult to find a module that will give us what we want. We are looking at many different “catalogue”, “wiki” and “File Download” modules and none fits what we want. Or they cost something like 200 USD per year.
Up- and Downvote of content
We think we have found the right module for that. But further tests are on their way.
User and Driver Ranking
We’ve installed a way to give Users of the website an activity ranking and will be refining what denominations and badges(!) you will be getting.
We still have to give the driver ranking a good thought. Maybe we won’t be doing anything with regards to driver ranking until we have our own servers and let you petrolheads race on them. There are so many different and yet similar ways to rank SimRacers, we just have to decide to use one.
That’s it for the next release. But there’s a lot more in our roadmap, which includes:
Better interaction in the community
Building racing leagues, racing clubs and whatever kind of ways you may have of getting together
Making it possible to set up and launch a Sim Server from inside of WromWrom.net
and lots and lots more ideas. Maybe including YOUR idea!

We’ve decided on when we are going to go online with the community. Our plan right now is: beginning of March 2018
